This is about the perfect example of the kind of guitar we love at Nine Ball. This is a 1955 les Paul goldtop. It has all original parts, with the exception of reproduction tuners (the originals are in the case) and a Pigtail wrap bridge. It's been refinished by world-reknowned Les Paul expert Gord Miller. In the course of its life, it's received a new neck of old-growth Honduran mahogany, although it retains its original fretboard, inlays and binding.

Most importantly, it plays like a P-90 Les Paul should - tons of sustain, and incredible flexibility allowing the player to go from lush clean tones to screaming distortion using only the volume controls. Fantastic neck, reasonable weight (9 lbs). The guitar I've always wanted to have.
